What a great set!! Hasbro has returned to producing several great vehicles for GI Joe. The Harley Joe is just fantastic! Dressed in a tan shirt, pants, helmet and goggles, the WWII Courier comes with a canteen, and pistol with holster. The Harley-Davidson WLA cycle has a movable gear shift lever, springer seat, active springer front end, working kick stand and rear stand, saddle bags, Thompson sub-machine gun with front fender mounted rifle holster and display base.
The 1998 Wal-Mart Exclusive GI Joe is part of the Timeless Collection - Civil War Series. The General Grant figure is dressed in a long black coat and pants, with shirt, vest, boots, sash belt and hat. Introduced in 1994, by Estrela Toy Company, the Classicos Falcon series is causing quite a stir among GI Joe collectors worldwide. The line, under license by Hasbro, introduced figures that incorporate a combination of features from past GI Joe figures - the '60s painted head on a '70s muscle body and Kung Fu grip hands made of a soft rubber-like material that allows for gripping. We have 2 figures left in very limited quantities: Piloto (pilot) and Dragao Negro.

Piloto is called upon immediately when the mission requires the best pilot available. His battle garb features a green suede G-suit (multi-function flak jacket) and a silver helmet with a fully retractable shield. His oxygen mask with gas filters appears to be a repro of the Scramble pilot version. He also has a machine gun with a laser sight.

Dragao Negro - Black Dragon - is an arch enemy of GI Joe. Ready for a challenge, Dragao Negro is dressed in black stretch pants & shirt, "leather look" black vest, black hood, removable mask, black boots, and katana sword.

The Tuskegee Bomber Pilot (one of the 2 Tuskegee airmen in the series) stands ready for action in his brown A-2 flight jacket, beige shirt with wings, beige pants, three-quarter high GI shoes, crusher cap and sunglasses. Accessories include HS-18 headphones, personnel belt, first aid pouch, pistol and holster, 4 insulated bottles and A-1 food container. Place the Tuskegee Bomber Pilot box and Fighter Pilot box side by side to form an incredibly detailed mural!
The Tuskegee Fighter Pilot (the second Tuskegee airmen in the series) flies into the skies dressed in a B-10 flight jacket, type A-9 trousers, three-quarter high GI shoes. Accessories include A-11 helmet, B-7 goggles, A-14 oxygen mask, B-3 Mae West life vest, personnel belt, first aid pouch, pistol and holster and dog tag.
One of the four GI Joe 12" figures introduced in 1996, the Australian ODF (Operational Deployment Force) depicts GI Joe as a member of the rapid response force, the ODF. This 'Australian Minuteman' is dressed in "outback garb" - a khaki uniform with slouch hat and boots. His weapon of choice is the FN FAL 7.62 rifle. Aussie Joe also carries a rucksack, canteen and holder and pouches. Available in blond, brown, red, or black hair and African American.
The FAO Exclusive Masterpiece Edition Action Astronaut rockets into space wearing a realistic silver metallic space suit, boots and gloves, actually designed from Mercury Control blueprints. Also included are space helmet with retractable shield, space camera, propellant gun, chest pack with tether cord, air conditioner, dog tag and Astronaut Instruction sheet. Currently available in Caucasian figure with blonde hair color and African American.
The total production of this piece was limited to 15,000 pieces. The African American version was limited to 1,500 of the 15,000 produced. The autographed African American set is signed by members of the original GI Joe development team: Sam Speers (former Hasbro Assistant Director Product Development), Jerry Einhorn (former Hasbro Product Development) and Don Levine (former Hasbro Senior Vice President and creator of GI Joe).
Limited to 10,000 pieces, this FAO Schwarz Exclusive has to be one of the best sets produced in recent years. GI Joe finds himself on a top-secret military reconnaissance mission as part of the elite Navy SEALs. Set includes blond GI Joe in tiger camouflage uniform, combat boots, hat, 9mm sidearm in holster, automatic weapon with silencer, two hand grenades, boot-holstered knife, mission backpack kit, holstered hydration cantine, and dogtag. Also included is a motorized mission raft with a working motor and cargo hold for storing gear.
These are the original release (not the 1997 re-released/refurbished figures) Target Masterpiece Edition GI Joes, produced in 1996. The body of the Masterpiece Edition GI Joe, with 21 moving parts, is an accurate and authentic reproduction of the original 1964 figure.
