Destined to rival Silver Royale Barbie, Sparkle Beauty Barbie, the BJ's Wholesale Club Exclusive Barbie of 1997, certainly lives up to her name. Her iridescent purple gown, has an overskirt made of purple tulle (accented with glitter) and a silver lining with multi- colored polka dots. The finishing touch to this beautiful Barbie is the gently curled tendril of hair that falls to the side of her upswept hairdo. This Special Edition was limited to 50,000 dolls and was sold only through BJs Wholesale Clubs.
Sam's Club Exclusive - Sweet Moments Barbie SALE PRICE ~ $15
This adorable blonde Barbie is dressed in a pink and white gingham jumper with white T-shirt. She carries a coordinating back pack in one hand and is holding her cute little white puppy under her arm, a basket of flowers in her hand. Barbie and her puppy love both have matching pink bows. This Sam's Exclusive had a production run of only 50,000 dolls. Distribution in late May 1997 was limited to only select Sam's Clubs which have shown to be the best toy selling locations.
The most unique feature of this Barbie is her brown eyes. Rarely have we seen a blonde Barbie with anything but blue eyes!!

Released in the fall of 1996, BJs Exclusive Barbie, Rose Bride, is ready to join hands forever with Ken. Her elaborate wedding gown has a tight fitting satin bodice, sweeping satin skirt with a tulle overskirt. The long sleeves of her gown are puffy white satin from the shoulder to the elbow, where lace replaces satin, fitted to the wrist. The scoop neck of her gown is accented by a single strand of pearl beads. Adorning her blonde hair is a flowing veil of lace and tulle fabric.
